Low Carb Advice – Type 2 Diabetes

Your GP or Nurse may have advised you to consider making changes to your carbohydrate intake to improve your diabetic/pre-diabetic health. On the whole for people with Type 2 diabetes clinicians are trying to support patients to minimise the damage done over time by high blood sugars. In this condition your metabolism struggles to deal with both sugar itself and the starchy carbohydrates that digest down into surprising amounts of sugar.
