Dr Tim Hodkinson

Dr Hodkinson studied medicine at the University of Sheffield, graduating in 2011. During his years in hospital, he gained experience in Care of the Elderly, Dermatology, ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat), Intensive Care, Paediatrics and Psychiatry before qualifying as a GP in 2016.

In 2016 Dr Hodkinson moved to the South West began to work full time as GP. During his GP career he has cared for serving Military Personnel as a Civilian Medical Practitioner, including involvement with Aviation Medicine and has previously been an Honorary Clinical Teacher for the University of Bristol Medical School.

He joined Birchwood Medical Practice in 2023 and became a GP Partner in 2024.

Dr Hodkinson has a keen interest in Lung problems and is the Respiratory Lead for the Practice.

In his free time Dr Hodkinson enjoys barbeques, woodturning and spending time with his family.
